Malen Sanz dut izena, hogei urte ditut eta zarauztarra naiz. Donostiako Deustuko Unibertsitatean Enpresen Administrazio eta Zuzendaritza eta Ingeniaritza Informatikoko gradu bikoitza ikasten ari naiz, aurten bigarren urtea bukatu berri dut.
Me llamo Malen Sanz, tengo veinte años y soy de Zarautz. Acabo de terminar el segundo año en el doble grado de Administración y Dirección de Empresas e Ingeniería Informática en la Universidad de Deusto de Donostia.
My name is Malen Sanz, I am twenty years old and I come from Zarautz. I have just finished the second year in the double degree of Business Administration and Computer Engineering at the University of Deusto de Donostia.
Zeintzuk izan ziren zure motibazioak Sarralle Grow beka aukeratzeko? / ¿Cuáles fueron tus motivaciones para presentarte a la beca Sarralle Grow? / What were your motivations for submitting to the Sarralle Grow scholarship?
Bekaren lehenengo edizioa zenez, ez nuen inolako erreferentziarik. Unibertsitateak informazioa bidali aurretik, familiako kide batek helerazi zidan berria, eta ustez baldintzak betetzen nituela ikusiz, animatu egin nintzen. Urtero praktikak egiteko aukera bat eskura izatea aberasgarria iruditu zitzaidan, esperientzia profesionala eta pertsonala izateko oso aukera ona baitzen eta bestalde, urtero eskaintzen zuten dirua ere deigarria izan zen niretzat.
Como era la primera edición de la beca, no tenía referencias de nada. Antes de que la universidad me enviara toda la información, un familiar cercano me hizo llegar la noticia al ver que podía encajar conmigo. Pensé que cumplía con las condiciones y me animé a apuntarme. Me pareció muy enriquecedor la oportunidad que ofrecían para hacer prácticas remuneradas todos los veranos, ya que serviría para tener experiencia profesional y personal. Además, pensé que el dinero que ofrecían todos los años también sería un plus económicamente.
As it was the first edition of the scholarship, I had no references to anything. Before the university sent me all the information, a close relative passed the news to me when they saw that he could fit in with me. I thought I met the conditions and I decided to sign up. I found the opportunity offered to do paid internships every summer very enriching, since it would serve to gain professional and personal experience. In addition, I thought that the money they offered every year would also be a financial plus.

Lehenengo urtea zertxobait arraroa izan zen, COVID-19aren ondorioz praktikak etxetik egin behar izan nituelako. Ezberdina izan zen, baina lan mundua pixkanaka ikusteko ez zitzaidan gaizki etorri. Bigarren urte hau presentziala denez, errealago izaten ari da, langileekin nago kontaktuan eta enpresa gertutik ikusten ari naiz. Beraz, bi urteak niretzat oso baliagarriak direla esango nuke.
El primer año fue un poco raro debido a la COVID-19, ya que tuve que hacer las prácticas desde casa. Fue diferente pero no me vino mal porque me sirvió para ver el mundo laboral poco a poco. Este segundo año está siendo presencial, estoy viendo la realidad, estoy en contacto con l@s trabajador@s y veo la empresa más de cerca. Por eso, creo que los dos años van a ser beneficiosos para mí.
The first year was a bit weird due to COVID-19, as I had to do my internship from home. It was different but it didn't hurt because it helped me prove a close up to the world of work. This second year is being face-to-face, I am seeing reality, I am in contact with the workers and I see the company closer. So I think the two years are going to be beneficial for me.

Sarralle Grow bekak urtean zehar unibertsitatean ikusten ditudan kontzeptuak praktikan jartzea ahalbidetzen dit. Enpresa kasu erreal bat gertutik ikusteko aukera izan dut, proiektu erreal ezberdinak ikusi ditut gertutik, bai enpresa mundu aldetik eta baita informatikaren aldetik ere. Bi urteetan zeregin ezberdinak izan ditut, lehenengo urtean Informatikako departamentuan egon nintzen SAPeko ezarpenerako datuak prestatzen eta aurten Processing Lines negozioan nago eskaintzak optimizatzeko programa bat egiten. Beraz, ikusten duzuenez, gauza ezberdinak egiten ari naiz eta hori oso aberasgarria dela uste dut, alor ezberdinak ikusten ditudalako.
La beca Sarralle Grow me está ayudando a poner en práctica los conceptos que veo durante el curso en la universidad. Estoy viendo un caso real de empresa desde cerca, proyectos diferentes, tanto como en el mundo de la empresa como en el área de la informática. En estos dos años he tenido tareas diferentes, el primero estuve en el departamento de Informática preparando datos para la implantación del SAP, y este segundo año estoy haciendo un proyecto para optimizar las ofertas en la línea de negocio de Processing Lines. Por lo tanto, como veréis, estoy realizando diferentes cosas en diferentes áreas, por eso creo que en un futuro me servirá de mucho.
The Sarralle Grow scholarship is helping me to put into practice the concepts that I see during the course at the university. I am seeing a real business case from up close, different projects, both in the business world and in the IT area. In these two years I have had different tasks, the first I was in the IT department passing data for the implementation of SAP, and this second year I am doing a project to optimize the offers in Processing Lines business line. Therefore, as you will see, I am doing different things in different areas, so I think that in the future it will serve me well.
Gazteentzako beka modalitate egokia iruditzen zaizu? / ¿Te parece buena modalidad de beca para la gente joven? / Do you think it is a good form of scholarship for young people?
Askotan praktika ordainduak bilatzea ez da lan erraza izaten, horregatik, horrelako enpresa batek aukera hori eskaintzea lagungarria izan daiteke ikasle askorentzat. Gainera, gradu amaierako lana ere beraiekin egiteko aukera ematen dute eta honek ikasleari segurtasuna ematen diola uste dut. Bestalde, ikasturtean zehar eskaintzen duten dirua ere ekonomikoki lagungarria da eta gazteek honi garrantzia ematen dietela esango nuke. Beraz, beka hau gazteentzat oso egokia dela iruditzen zait.
Muchas veces suele resultar difícil para los estudiantes encontrar prácticas remuneradas. Por eso, creo que sirve de ayuda tener una oportunidad así en una empresa como Sarralle. Además, ofrece la oportunidad de realizar el trabajo de fin de grado con ellos, y creo que esto proporciona seguridad a los estudiantes. Por otro lado, el dinero que ofrecen todos los años es una ayuda económica muy favorable y que creo que a los jóvenes les llama mucho la atención. Por tanto, creo que es una muy buena modalidad de beca para la gente joven.
It is often difficult for students to find paid internships. So I think it helps to have such an opportunity in a company like Sarralle. In addition, it offers the opportunity to do the final degree project with them, and I believe that this provides security for the students. On the other hand, the money that they offer every year is a very favorable financial aid and I think that young people are very interested in it. Therefore, I think it is a very good type of scholarship for young people.

Aurkeztu nintzen urtean nire inguruan ez zen oso ezaguna, oraindik beka berria zen eta. Eskuratu nuenean, bai lagun eta bai gelakideen artean ezagunagoa egin zela esango nuke, gertuko batek eskuratu zuela ikusi zutelako. Bigarrengo edizioak ere bultzada handia eman diola esango nuke, orain jendeak beka berri bat bezala ikusten ez duelako. Amaitzeko, beka gomendatu nahiko nuke, esperientzia profesional zein pertsonalak biltzeko aukera paregabea delako eta ekonomikoki ere lagungarria izan daitekeelako. Izena ematea gomendatuko nizueke, beka emango ez dizuetela pentsatu arren, agian sorpresa handia izango duzuelako!
El año en el que me presenté no era muy conocida la beca en mi entorno porque todavía era una beca nueva. Cuando me la dieron, se hizo más conocida entre mis amig@s y compañer@s de clase porque vieron que se la dieron a una conocida. Creo que la segunda edición también dio un buen empujón y espero que las jóvenes se animen en esta tercera. Para terminar, me gustaría recomendar a todas esta beca por todo lo explicado anteriormente. Os recomendaría que por lo menos os apuntaseis, aunque penséis que no os la van a dar, ¡porque tal vez os llevaréis una gran sorpresa!
The year I applied, the scholarship was not well known in my environment because it was still a new scholarship. When they gave it to me, it became more known to my friends and classmates because they saw that they gave it to an acquaintance. I think the second edition also gave a good push and I hope that people will cheer on this third. In closing, I would like to recommend this scholarship to people for everything explained above. I would recommend that you at least sign up, even if you think they are not going to give it to you, because maybe you will get a big surprise!
