Sarralle has successfully completed the implementation of a new billet weighing system, further strengthening the billet transport installation originally supplied in 2021. This upgrade consolidates our role as a reliable provider of integrated, high-performance solutions tailored to the demanding needs of the steel industry.
The original 2021 installation enabled the efficient and continuous transport of billets from storage to the reheating furnace. Designed to manage billet lengths of up to 14,300 mm and temperatures reaching 750 ºC, the solution integrated mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems into a fully coordinated process.
With the new weighing system, the installation has been expanded to offer greater control, accuracy, and operational stability. The system is engineered for billets ranging from 7,500 mm to 14,300 mm, with an operational weight of up to 3,500 kg and preparation for pieces reaching 3,800 kg. Its high precision, repeatability, and reliability ensure consistent performance even under the harsh conditions typical of steelmaking environments.

Sarralle ha completado con éxito la implementación de un nuevo sistema de pesaje de palanquillas, reforzando el sistema de transporte originalmente suministrado en 2021. Esta mejora consolida nuestra posición como proveedor de soluciones integradas y de alto rendimiento para la industria del acero.
La instalación puesta en marcha en 2021 permitió el transporte de palanquillas desde la zona de almacenamiento hasta el horno de recalentamiento, gestionando longitudes de hasta 14.300 mm y temperaturas de hasta 750 ºC, con una integración completa de los sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y de fluidos.
Con la incorporación del nuevo sistema de pesaje, la instalación se amplía para ofrecer un mayor control, precisión y estabilidad operativa. El sistema está diseñado para palanquillas de entre 7.500 mm y 14.300 mm, con un peso operativo de hasta 3.500 kg y preparación para piezas que pueden alcanzar los 3.800 kg. Su alta precisión, fiabilidad y repetitividad garantizan un rendimiento estable incluso en los entornos exigentes propios de la siderurgia.
