INDUSTRIAL

 

Raw water

SARRALLE Environment & Energy works for the optimization of water-based industrial processes such as heating, cooling, processing, cleaning, and rinsing of untreated water entering the industrial plant to meet tight quality specifications.

 

Our desalination plants are a great example of the transformation of the sea water into optimal water to meet tight quality specifications to be of used in all major industries including food and beverage, automotive, mining, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and power.

 

In this case, we avoid using the limited existing freshwater and find other alternative sources. More than a third of the world's population does not enjoy safe drinking water services, which translates to more than 2,000 million people, who do not receive quality water in their homes, for this reason men, women and children die every year.

 

 

 

Wastewater

Aware of the critical situation of the nature, SARRALLE Environment & Energy purifies the industrial wastewater through our WWTP removing impurities and ensuring that industries are fully compliant with regional industrial wastewater treatment standards to reuse it in another process, avoiding releasing it the environment and minimising the overall water consumption. Effective industrial wastewater treatment can produce both clean and reusable water.

 

 

 

URBAN

 

Access to drinking water

One of the central worries of the UN is related to the care and preservation of fresh water throughout the world as part of sustainable development and this has been reflected in the 2030 Agenda.

 

The increase in the world’s population combined with increasing urbanization difficult the access to drinking water and sanitation in many cities, especially in developing countries. SARRALLE Environment & Energy refers to all the techniques used to collect, transport and treat wastewater. It can be conceived on the scale of an urban area with the collective sanitation or of dwellings not connected to a collective sewer network, autonomous sanitation.

 

 

Wastewater

Urban wastewater is treated by biological processes, supplemented by physico-chemical diphosphatase. For urban areas with more than 2000 to 4000 inhabitants, intensive wastewater treatment plants mainly use the activated sludge process. For small communities, extensive wastewater treatment plants use natural lagooning or reed filters. Sarralle WWTP produce green energy, fertilizing materials and precious metals from the reuse of the treated wastewater and sewage sludge.
