New Orders for SARRALLE Fumes Exhaust System in India

SARRALLE has been selected for Indian strategic steel manufacturers for their new Fumes Exhaust System:


1.700.000 m3/hr capacity FES for JSPL, Angul. 

JSP has a 6 MTPA integrated steel plant comprising India’s largest 4.25 MTPA Blast Furnace at Angul, Odisha. It has a 1.2 MTPA plate mill, 1.4 MTPA bar mill and an 810 MW captive power plant at Angul. Its plate mill is capable of producing 5-meter-wide plates, which is the widest plate ever built in India. The facility develops special-grade and nuclear application plates for critical applications like boilers, petroleum pipes, shipbuilding, automotive, oil exploration, earthmovers, warships, armored vehicles, and nuclear applications.

900.000 m3/hr capacity FES for ISMT, Pune.

ISMT is an established market leader in the production of special engineering steel and with over 15 years of experience they produce carbon, alloy and martensitic stainless-steel bars with a special emphasis on ultra-clean steels, free machining steels, bearing steels, and on other specially engineered steel grades.

Each component has its own design, such as the special arrangement of the fourth hole elbow water circuit with an optimized life cycle.


Residence time in the canopy due to superior geometry selection enables a lower amount of mg/Nm3 on the operating floor, which leads to an improvement in the safety for every operation. Filtration parameters allow an optimal life cycle of the sleeves, as well as the selection of the optimized number of compartments automatically maintaining at least, one offline compartment. Optimized bags length of up to 10 meters permits a compact design of the Filtration Unit.


Design features include:


  • High-tech combustion chamber.

  • High-efficiency quenching tower with either an air-mist water only or nitrogen-based system.

  • Special canopy design to improve working conditions of the melt shop building.

  • Low water consumption technology for the fume cooling system.

  • Improved controls for air mixing.

  • Lignite and lime injection.

  • High-efficiency fumes sparks separating cyclone.
