The upgrade of the bundling and exit area consists of the installation of a new automatic bundling area in line of the existing manual bundling area. Sarralle Rolling Mill will carry out the engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of the project to increase the productivity of the exit area, using the minimum plant stop during the implementation. The new transfer system shall include, apart from transfers, a system for descending the material to a lower level, as well as binding and weighing stations. Some of the existing transfers and cribs will be re - located in a better position for the correct installation of the new system.

The plant currently features a cutting area, with abrasive cut-off machine to cut the layers produced in the mill to the different customer length. The cut layers are transported to either the automatic bundling area or to the manual bundling area.
