Technological transition to green steel production is a major challenge but necessary towards CO2 neutral steel production by 2050. Transitioning steelmaking from the Blast Furnace-Converter to the Electric Arc Route has a number of challenges but this transition has started and the steel industry will look different in the next decade’s time.
